Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

What we collect, and why

  • Name, phone number or email — to process your payment and to personalize your resume.
  • Branch of study, education, skills, project details — the content you provide to build your resume. Used only for that purpose.
  • Uploaded documents (existing resume PDF/DOCX) — read once to extract text for pre-filling your resume, then not retained beyond what's needed to generate your document.
  • Uploaded photos (marksheets/certificates) — read once by our AI provider to extract education details, then not retained beyond what's needed to generate your document.
  • Name and email from Google/Facebook/LinkedIn sign-in — only if you choose to sign in that way, only to pre-fill the form. We do not access your posts, connections, or any other profile data.
  • Email for an optional "remind me" note — only if you choose to leave it in the builder before finishing; used solely to send you a reminder about your in-progress resume, never shared or sold.
  • Payment details — handled entirely by Razorpay; we do not see or store your card/UPI details.

Consent

Each of the uses above is tied to the specific purpose described — we do not use your information for anything beyond generating and delivering your resume and processing payment. You can decline any optional upload (existing resume, photos, social sign-in) and still use the service by filling the form manually.

Retention and deletion

Uploaded files (resumes, photos) are processed to generate your document and are not kept longer than needed for that purpose. Your generated resume content and order records are kept so you can be identified if you contact support about an order, until you request deletion.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your data, tell you what we hold about you, or withdraw any consent you've given, at any time, by contacting us at [your support email]. We will act on such requests promptly.

Third parties we use

  • Anthropic (Claude) — to generate resume text and read uploaded photos/documents.
  • Razorpay — to process payments for paid resumes.
  • Google / Facebook / LinkedIn — only if you choose to sign in with one of them, to confirm your name and email.
